A made-in-China humanoid robot surpassed Usain Bolt’s world record time in the 100-meter sprint last week, covering the distance in just 8.64 seconds at an average speed of nearly 26 miles per hour, according to Reuters. For comparison, Bolt’s record time, which remains the fastest by any human, was a blistering 9.58 seconds and was set at the World Athletics Championships in 2009.
