First Trust Wins Economic Forecaster of the Month Award
MarketWatch awarded the First Trust economics team with the "Forecaster of the Month" Award for December 2012. On a regular basis, 43 forecasters submit estimates to MarketWatch for weekly and monthly economic data. Analysts at MarketWatch then determine who was closest to the mark on a consistent basis for the month as a whole. This is the second win in the last 13 months for the First Trust Economics Team, and their third win overall. This is a fourth win for Brian Wesbury who was recognized as the Forecaster of the Month by MarketWatch in 2005, prior to joining First Trust.
